Introducing the Boss TU-3 Tuner pedal available at JAMS. So, here at JAMS we tend to be brutally honest.  Indeed that is a good thing, but not always... Why must I bring this up you ask? Well, I’ll just say the Boss TU-3 is not my favorite tuner pedal out there. Now I know you may be thinking, “this guy is an idiot” and you are most definitely right, but for other reasons. How can I “hate” the best selling tuner pedal of all time and how could I say anything negative about the Boss TU-3.  First off, I don’t hate the TU-3. It is indeed one of, if not the best selling tuner pedal of all time and it’s predecessor the TU-2 paved the way for the fantastic tuner pedals that are available on the market today. For me, that’s just it. There are better options and some more affordable. But there is something to be said for the TU-3 longevity and durability, still remaining on top as a Best Seller despite competition and innovation. There’s something to be said for being the original and still performing at a top level. I mean just because something is old doesn’t mean it’s bad. Ask the Fender Stratocaster. Now I can have my opinion but also give credit to the TU-3 being a worthy tuner pedal. I can have my opinion knowing that the great reputation of this coveted pedal will supersede my opinion and we will still sell these pedals very well. Perhaps I may have sold myself on this pedal as well. It’s hard to go wrong with an original.
