For sale at JAMS is a Gretsch G2655 Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double Cut Bigsby Walnut Stain. The Streamliner is a more modern offering from Gretsch. The guitar has a Junior Hollow Body size with a thin profiled body. It you like an airy vibe and feel of a hollow body guitar but prefer smaller Les Paul size bodies then this guitar is a great option. If features a spruce center block which allows the guitar to handle high gain without being prone to feedback. The guitar sports the BroadTron BT-2S humbucker for a powerful high output pickup. The combination of the BT-2S pickups and spruce center hollow body produce a pallette of robust lows, pristine highs, and throaty midrange. A great option for those seeking a classic rock machine.
The guitar is very well made, great craftsmanship for a guitar at this price point. The Walnut Stain gloss finish looks amazing and provides a Classic feel. It has 22 medium jumbo frets with a U shape neck profile and 12" radius. The hardware includes a Bigsby Tremolo with a secured adjustomatic bridge, and synthetic bone nut, which provides excellent tuning stability. If you are looking for a nice medium price ranged guitar and what something unique besides a Strat, Tele or Les Paul, Gretsch guitars are an amazing option. The G2655 Streamliner is a great guitar at a great value.
